Everything You Need To Know

About The 3G Cardio Elite RB Recumbent Bike

Comfortable Seat

This has got to be the most comfortable stationary exercise bicycle available – bar none!  The adjustable seat and backrest have the softest cushions I have ever had on a bike.  Upon mounting the bike, the cushions conform to any shape or size of derrière (buttocks – for those who don’t know French).  I just wish I could put the same cushions on my cross county bicycle!

Fits Into Small Spaces

Being very compact – only 49 inches long – and 27 inches wide – it can fit into spaces that are too small for other in-house bikes.  The width between the pedals is pretty narrow, too – adding to the comfort.  This bike could possibly even fit in the bathroom!  But, I like keeping it in a corner of my bedroom.

TIP

The pedal straps can be difficult to install for someone that can’t “muscle them on.”  Don’t waste your time grunting over this task – just soak them in warm water for a few minutes to make them more pliable – and, they’ll go on with no trouble.

Easy To Move

There are easy roller wheels to make moving the bike from place to place as effortless as a walk in the park!  Lift it with one hand and it will follow you anywhere!

Sturdy Step Through Frame

The heavy duty frame easily supports users up to 350 pounds – so, this bike is able to be used by most folks – short or tall – thin or thick.  And, its low height makes it easy to mount the machine without tripping and falling.

Control Console – A Breeze To Use

    Hi Noah,

I enjoyed reading through your review of the recumbent bike. My question is, due to the pedals being set quite narrow, will the bike be suitable for someone who is a little overweight? I am mostly worried that my thighs will rub together as this sometimes happens on a traditional bike. Thanks in advance, Andrew

      Hi Andrew,

The diminutive footprint of the 3G Cardio Elite RB Recumbent Bike is one of its key features – to be able to place it just about anywhere – even in a small, cramped apartment.

I do understand your concerns, though, as I have been “blessed” with “tree trunk thighs.  Before I lost my extra baggage, more often than not – over the years – I suffered the dreaded sore rashes coming from my thighs rubbing together while exercising.

I eliminated this issue in two ways – first, I wore knee length spandex-type pants – and second, if I didn’t have the pants available, I applied some petroleum jelly to the areas that could get galded prior to exercising.

      Hope that helps!

Thank you for reviewing this recumbent bike. I have a question about one of the photos, it said something about a Q factor which seems to be a distance between the pedals, what exactly is that? Oh well, it is probably a good thing. Over all this sounds like a great exercise bike, especially the 350 lb rating. If I needed a new exercise bike I would definitely consider getting this one. Thanks for the advice on how to get the pedals on with warm water if needed.

Simple explanation:  The “Q factor” is the distance between the crank arms – where the pedals attach.

The 3G Cardio Elite is a great recumbent bike for anyone serious about losing weight and gaining strength the right way!
