Well, ME – of course! And, anyone else who needs to remove spot stains and spills from their carpets, hard floors, furniture, car seats, and a whole lot more! We all could benefit from using the Bissell Cordless Handheld Pet Stain Eraser!
Actually, since I’m left handed, I’m always in my “right mind.” Just kidding – for all those left and right handed folks who may not be aware of my little joke.
In my case, I have a cat that has developed the habit of wiping her butt by scooting across the carpet and hard floors – leaving daily – sometimes hourly – reminders of her routine visits to the litter box.
The characteristically brown streaks can be very artistic – some looking like crop circles or areas where someone has played tic-tac-toe on the carpet – some are just gently curving arches because, she tends to scoot around in a circular motion most of the time.
If I ignore these antics for even a day, I would end up with a huge masterpiece of abstract art that maybe I could sell. Except that everything would only have 2 colors – that of the carpet – plus the color that she leaves every time she performs her ritual – which, I’m sure, you can envision without me delving too deeply into the matter. But, I kid – again.
This all started a couple of years ago when my female furry friend got too fat to clean herself. She just couldn’t quite reach all the way back to her rear end for cleanup – which most normal sized cats can do with very little effort on their part.

I have to tell you that this nifty little gadget was a Godsend!
No longer did I have to keep my full size carpet shampooer available for daily operation. Because, now, I had the right tool for the job!
I like everything about this handy dandy appliance!
I really don’t know how I’ve managed without one for all these years. But, I suspect it took some time for a company like Bissell to come up with a foolproof, permanent stain cleaning method.
It’s cordless – operating for at least 15 minutes on a charge. But, it lasts longer than that for me – since I don’t keep it running the whole time. I first spray the affected area, then I use the built-in brushes to scrub and loosen up the stain – and finally, I suck up the whole mess – and, PRESTO – the stain and smell are gone – forever!
NOTE: It takes 3 to 4 hours to completely recharge the battery – if the battery has been completely depleted. But, I always charge it after it’s been used a couple of times – so, not a problem. Blue indicator lights tell you when it is fully charged.
It’s portable and handheld. It weighs less than 5 pounds – which makes it easy to carry around to attack spot and spill stains that can happen on any soft or hard surface.
It’s versatile. It handles not only carpets and rugs in the house – but, also the interior of my vehicles. I’ve been known to spill coffee more times than I care to think about – while driving. It has saved more than one piece of furniture, too – since it works just as well on upholstery as it does anywhere else! Where else have I used it? Well, there’s the carpeted stairs, the tiled bathrooms and kitchen, and more! Just use your imagination because, it can handle almost any surface!
It will remove just about any stain you can think of. I remove mostly fecal skid tracks that my artistic feline graces me with. But, this magical wonder has also helped me to successfully remove stains made by cat hairballs / vomit, blood, grass stains, makeup, coffee, juices (grape and others), tomato sauce, wine, grease, oil, tracked-in dirt and mud, sodas – and more!
It’s easy to fill, empty and clean the unit. Everything is easy to remove. There are spring clips on the bottom of the Pet Stain Eraser that hold the dirty water tank and scrub brushes securely in place. And, after removing the cleaning tank with an upward motion at a slight angle, the suction channel nozzle can be un-clipped for removal and cleaning.
It has a ready-to-use formula. The formula is made especially for the handheld portable Pet Stain Eraser – so, all I have to do is pour some of the cleaner into the machine and get crackin’! What a relief it is! The cleaning solution also leaves a fresh smelling scent behind – to replace the odors of the stains.
It comes with Bissell’s special formula. But, it’s only a small container’s worth– so, you should buy some backup cleaning liquid made especially for portable machines.
Bissell also has a “booster formula” to use as an additive – for extremely tough stains – and, it is amazingly potent and strong!
It’s got a great warranty. Two years! Can’t beat that! Most machines offer 90 days – or, no more than a year.

In answer to your question: me! I need a pet stain eraser. I didn’t know that until I read this article, but I really need this. I already made the switch over to a cordless vacuum cleaner at the start of the year, which has made keeping on top of the dog hair situation so much easier, but this looks awesome. It’s mainly nose print stains and muddy paw prints that I have to deal with, on everything from upholstery to curtains to doors, walls, the floor obviously. What an incredible piece of kit, this is definitely going on my Christmas wishlist. Thanks for the info.

Well, I also need a handheld stain remover. I am kind of a neat freak and I hate when my home is kind of disordered. So, I always try my best to stay clean and keep everything intact. I have been seeing some stains everywhere in my home and on the floors especially and I know the normal cleaning would not be enough and I need to concentrate more on them. Wow! This looks amazing! This is something my girlfriend needs because she has three dogs and is always complaining about lugging around that shampoo carpet cleaner. This will make it so much easier, especially in those small tight spaces like the carpeted stairs and in the car.
Though I do not have pets that create works of art on my carpets, I can see me needing this for my SUV and the stains that have developed over the years from my coffee mishaps too. About how long does it take to dry after cleaning a spot or a large stain area on carpet? Thanks for this information.

If your girlfriend has 3 dogs – then, this machine is an absolute must for her! And, it is much easier – and quicker – to navigate the stains with this handheld device. Especially, when many stains are on furniture – and not just on the floors.
I am forever cleaning up liquid stains in my car and van – which makes this a super handy gadget.
I would expect that dry time depends on temperature, humidity, and amount of solution used on any given spot. But, as a rule of thumb, most of my cleanups are usually dry in 30 to 60 minutes.

The benefits of using a product like this, rather than the other shampoo and vacuum cleaners …. storage space, convenience and being a hand held cleaner, is wonderful. I don’t have pets but the convenience of a tool, to pick-up spills on the kitchen floor… or a quick clean in our bathrooms and halls would be amazing.
