Sole Fitness Treadmill Review – TT8 and F85

Sole Fitness Treadmills – The Most Popular By Far!Sole Treadmills are in hotels across the U.S.A.

The Sole Fitness treadmills have been preferred by hotels across America for years – because, they are designed to perform under extreme conditions.

Being high quality commercial treadmills, they have been translated into equally solid and dependable treadmills for home use.

The company has been making great exercise equipment for decades – treadmills, elliptical, exercise bikes, etc.

The best bang for the buck can be had with their TT8 – a non-folding treadmill – and their F85 – a folding treadmill.

Sole Fitness TT8 Light Commercial Non-Folding Treadmill

A shock absorbing, running platform – 22 inches wide and 60 inches long – is powered by a 3.5 CHP (continuous horsepower) motor.

With a total footprint of 32 inches wide and 80 inches long, you will need to make sure you have the space for this machine – since it is NOT foldable.  Add 2 to 3 feet minimum clearance on all four sides – so you don’t start bumping walls as you get on and off the machine.

This 300 pound contraption can handle a hefty person weighing up to 425 pounds – which is a phenomenal feat for even the most expensive and fashionable treadmills.  A proprietary “Cushion Flex” belt makes for easier and quieter walking, jogging, or running – and minimizes risk of injuries that can easily occur by taking to the streets for a work out.

Sole TT8 treadmill has 10 programs from which to choose.

The LCD screen displays 6 standard workout choices – or, you can invent up to 2 of your own custom workouts.  There are also 2 additional workouts programmed into it – based on your heart rate levels.  You’ll see real time readouts: speed – up to 12 mph (19.3 km/h) – incline angle – up to 15% – workout duration – distance covered – calories burned – and heart rate.  In addition, the control panel easily connects an MP3 player or iPod so you can enjoy all the sounds needed to boost your exercise activity.

Want to run downhill?  Then, set the decline angle up to a 6% downgrade.

Strap on a wireless chest strap or grab onto the heart rate sensor handles for accurate checks on making sure you are in your pulse rate target zone.

And, don’t forget some of the extra perks – like the pair of cooling fans to keep you from overheating, Bluetooth enabled for ease of uploading workouts to the internet, large 3 inch rollers that keep the platform belt moving so quietly you could hear a pin drop, and controls in the armrest for speed and incline angle.

Residential Warranty

It’s no wonder that the frame is under lifetime warranty – with its powder-coated and welded heavy duty steel construction.

The mighty 3.5 CHP motor is also covered for the life of the treadmill.

The rest of the parts – electronics, belt, rollers, and various other components – are covered for 5 years.

Labor costs for in home treadmill repair are at no charge for the first 2 years.

What TT8 Owners Are Saying

Sole TT8 Treadmill is a smart buy!

“I’m so glad my wife and I decided to purchase the TT8 treadmill after reading tons of reviews on many different ones.  With all the features, looks, and stability as well as the commercial level solid build quality we haven’t had even one regret.”

“My rating?  Excellent!  This treadmill is built like a Sherman tank!”

“The Sole TT8 is quieter than any treadmill I’ve ever used before in a gym or otherwise.”

“Even with my hefty frame running on it, I never see the belt slipping or straining like I would on other treadmills with lower horsepower motors.”

“Buying a Sole TT8 is like buying the best car made – brand new off the lot!”

“The TT8 is a beast!  It’s the size and weight of a health club machine.”

“This treadmill costs a bit more than others but, it was well worth it!”

“Great treadmill and great customer support!  My wife and I couldn’t be happier!”

If you’ve got the space, the Sole TT8 Non-folding Treadmill is the one to have – in your work out environment!

Sole F85 Folding Treadmill

Sole Fitness calls this “the strongest folding treadmill on the planet!”  And, they’re quite right!

If you have space limitations in your home exercise room, this folding treadmill gives you most of the advantages of the Sole TT8 and easily folds up into a smaller footprint – to make room for other work out activities.

Sole F85 Foldable Treadmill raises and lowers easily.

There are 15 fitness websites and magazines that rate this treadmill at the top of their list – and, they know what they’re talkin’ ‘bout!

Why?

The F85 has a super large 10.1 inch LCD display that tracks speed, incline angle, distance, calories burned, heart rate, and more.  Big buttons allow quick and trouble-free program changes – and, speed, incline, etc., are within easy reach for anyone – short or tall.

It is Bluetooth enabled and even has a USB port to charge your devices.  Also, don’t forget the mounting frame to hold your tablet or iPad.

The heavy duty frame and 4.0 CHP motor – with their lifetime warranty – create a stable and smooth running machine.  I challenge you – no matter how densely packed your body is (within the treadmill’s 400 pound weight limit, of course) – to make this machine weave and wobble or to create any type of strain on the motor.  It just won’t happen I tell ya!

The Sole F85 has a comfortable CushionFlex belt.

Run on a 22 inch wide and 5 foot long “CushionFlex”, 2-ply platform belt – so quiet that anyone in the next room won’t even know you’re using the treadmill.

NOTE:  The overall footprint of the F85 is 83 inches long and 37 inches wide.  So, even though you may be folding it up after each use, you’ll still want to keep it in a spot with 2 to 3 feet of clearance – front, back, and sides – during operation.

You have running speeds up to 12 mph (19.3 km/h) – which is much faster than most of us will ever run – unless we are trying to escape the boogey man.

Enjoy the experience of walking, jogging, or running on steep inclines up to 15%.

And, when you’re getting hot and sweaty, cool off with the built-in fans.

The folding deck is designed with a hydraulic lift for ease of raising and lowering – and, it locks into place when folded up.

Add in a wireless heart rate monitor – and, it goes without saying that this machine is nearly as good as the TT8 – with the additional ability to fold it up and out of the way.  But, if you forget to put on the wireless monitor, you can always grab onto the pulse sensors for a quick reading.

Premium Sole Warranty

Yep!  I have to say it – you get the best warranty on the market!  Lifetime for the frame, motor, and deck– 5 years on electronics and parts – 2 years for labor on in home repairs.

People Are Talking About The F85…

The Sole F85 has great reviews!

“Most of the folding treadmills I found were very flimsy or lower quality than what I wanted.  But, the F85 satisfied both of these concerns for me.  With the lifetime warranty and powerful motor, this was just too good to pass up!”

“I haven’t found any negatives yet.  I love the sound quality of the speakers and the display panel is so easy to read.”

“A great machine!  Very Sturdy!”

“My wife and I put about 25 miles a week each on the Sole F85 treadmill.  Both of us still have quite a few pounds to lose but, we’re getting there a little bit at a time.  This machine is solid as a rock!  No wobbling at all!”

“After 2 years, this treadmill is still an awesome, flawless beast!”

“Once you run on this large treadmill platform, you’ll never want to go back to the smaller, cheaper ones!”

“I have been ecstatically overjoyed with my F85 treadmill. I also have some other Sole Fitness equipment and I’ve found all of it to be the highest quality and the best value!”

“My purchase of this treadmill definitely gave me the best bang for the buck!”

“This is a pretty slick unit!”

“Lots of features, not complicated to operate, and runs very quiet.”

“I can’t say enough good things about my F85 treadmill.  It’s a strong and sturdy as any that you would see in a gym and has all the extras I need to monitor my progress!”

“This has to be the sexiest treadmill on the market.  The F85 is everything you could want.  It’s durable, easy to put together, is priced right, and looks amazing!”

Though Sole makes a model F80 folding treadmill that has most of the same features as the F85, for a few extra bucks, the F85 can give you a few extras:

More powerful motor – A 4.0 CHP motor as opposed to the 3.5 CHP motor in the F80.

Higher weight capacity – 400 pounds.  The F80 is rated at 375 pounds.

So, I say if you need a treadmill that folds up out of the way when you’re not using it, go with the Sole F85 Folding Treadmill.  Owners say, “You can’t go wrong!”

Don’t Forget The Mat!

Get a protective mat to safeguard your floors and give your treadmill a skid-free surface to rest on.

This is a great Treadmill you are promoting here. With the information given, I’m sure it’s the best one.

I like the F85 especially. I love the fact that you can fold this product up when done using it. For a minute there I thought people would need a special room for this. Oh, wait! you do need a special room for gym equipment.

Thank you for posting this product and all the best.

      Hi Aabidah,

The Sole Fitness treadmills truly are amazing machines – especially, the F85 folding model.  Even though it is best if you have a special room available to use as an exercise room, the folding models have been found in bedrooms, living rooms, and family rooms in many homes.  The F85 gives you all the greatness – along with the versatility to use in multiple areas.

Thank you for your review of these two machines.  I am not familiar with this brand name, so I appreciate that you mentioned the product is widely used in hotels.  As I do try to use the hotel gyms when I travel, I most likely have experience with this brand of treadmill.  Living in a small home, it is nice that you also tell about the fold up model and its dimensions compared to the non-folding model.  It makes decision making easier.

      Hi Kim,

The fold-up model, F85, is a must if you want to use a Sole Fitness treadmill in a small home – that’s for sure!  Just don’t forget to put a protective mat underneath it to safeguard your carpeting and hard floors!
